Client brief standards for pre-production
Client brief definition: the instructions given to the designer or developer which lets them know what the company wants from them, in terms of design, purpose and audience.
Considerations within a client brief -
- Target market (by behavioral patterns)
- Age target
- Gender target
- Theme
- Message/purpose
- Sales/marketing strategy
Ideas can be created/generated using many mediums (both traditional and digital), here are some examples of traditional methods;
- Visual prompts
- Brainstorming
- Mindmapping
- Role playing



And here are some examples of digital methods;
- Apple Notes
- Microsoft Publisher
- Evernote
- Amazon Docs


Properties of a campaign plan;
- The Unique Selling Proposition (USP)
- Purpose
- Target market(s)
- Give the audience options to provide feedback about a particular product or brand, such as polls and questionairres
You will need:
- For movies/series, a crew, cast, photographer editor(s) and overseer/director
- For graphics, an editor(s) and photography team
- For music and/or special audio, you will need a voice over (if necessary) as well as an audio producer and editor(s) for the backtrack

Generally, the following are required:
- Promotional team
- Marketing strategy/overseer
- Audience feedback methods
